so in harajuku there is a place called the meiji shrine, our destination.

so you can buy one of these blocks of wood for 500 yen and you can write whatever prayer on them and then hang your block with the rest of these blocks. it surrounds a tree. i'm not sure of the other details but i didn't purchase a piece of wood for 500 yen.


this is in ueno. there is a park with a zoo and other cool things. i dig ueno park. and this is the view down to the rest of the park? yeah i could be wrong.


octopus balls. i can't recall the actual name for them but i tried one and did not enjoy. "they pop in your mouth". yeah....and not in a good way.


see those duck boats? partrick and i were planning on being inside one of those but the sun doesn't stay out very long in tokyo and they closed for new riders by the time we got there. very very sad but i dig ueno like i said already so i'm sure i'll get back.

so.....digital ain't workin' out so well. the batteries die wayyy quick. yesterday was a long day and i should have had a ton more to share easily with the western world but the camera dies too quick. and i forgot more film. grr!!!
