we went to eat in shibuya after ditching of one of the boys that lives in our building. haha anyway......it was delicious as always.
stephanie, my roommate, likes blood.
patrick is an octopus. or as the japanese say, tako.
yeah awesome picture of myself. anyway i'm a witch.
and this is not the first time we have encountered "free hugs" signs.
patrick loves it. i got a hug as well.
so we started out in jiyugaoka, which is where we walk from out house to the train station there to cause trouble all over tokyo. we saw 2 kids dressed up. some people ignored us, some laughed and pointed (how could you NOT laugh at patrick's costume??) some said kawaii, which means cute. uhh...yeah. so onward to shibuya to eat where there were some more people dressed up but not many. after eating patrick and i decided to try harajuku to get crepes and see what was going on but by 9:30 the streets were dead, all the shops had closed down, however we did get crepes and the crepe people loved us. haha. from there patrick and i decided to try roppongi and as much as both of us don't like roppongi we knew there would be a lot of halloween action because of roppongi's reputation for it's nightlife and there are more internationals. we went to some bar where pretty much everyone was dressed up. patrick called it an old person bar but me being the seasoned bar-fly, didn't think too much of it. that's how it is at home. i danced among drunken salary men. it was fun. patrick and i talked to a japanese man. his english was good which he denied but i told him his english is much better than my japanese. true story. so.....knowing our time was running out to catch the last train home, we decided to try a bar in jiyugaoka. we walked down some stairs to a bar that had 2 bartenders, and 4 drunekn japanese people. haha. everyone cheered when we came in. HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!! they were doing karaoke, and sang really well. however patrick and i took a turn and failed. i didn't really know the song he was singing so i couldn't help much. no no patrick did well. we also did ymca, a big hit in the bar. :)
