a vending maching. these are EVERYWHERE including right outside of tuj house (where i live). oh and i haven't figured out how to put these pictures in some specific order. blogger.com sucks brian. boo! so this picture is actually supposed to be last
ok. again i don't have a lot of time. i'll explain my WHOLE day(s) tomorrow. it's 1:30 am and i think the roommate is going to bed soon so i have to make this quick. the pictures suck except for 2. i plan on taking a walk around the 'hood by myself sometime soon and take good pictures.

my roommate and a boy that lives in my building. he made us dinner tonight. anyway we are at a restaurant....you walk in the restaurant and there are these machines...kinda like vending machines but not. you put in yen, push a button (i didn't know what i was picking so i just pushed the cheapest button 700 yen or 7 dollars) take a ticket and then your waitress takes the ticket and eventually brings you your food. i got ramen i think pork and seaweed in a pork based soup. it tasted........japanese. haha.

a horrible picture of me eating ramen. i will have a better noodle slurping picture later.

lame picture from a bridge. you should click on these pictures (for those of you who don't know) to see them better. like i said i haven't taken any good ones yet. but this is around the campus. they have trees and birds in japan. ;)

so we went to a 100 yen store (pretty much a dollar store) and this is a mouse trap. seriously. and this kind of cartoon stuff is everywhere. like on the bus there is a picture of a cell phone sleeping peacefully. so did you guess that means you should silence your cell phone? it may say that in english as well as japanese. by the way some stuff is in english. especially stores. there's a store for pet stuff that is called "pet you". haha. i'll photograph that. it's funny. but it also has the japanese lettering with it....i think. anyway...and some stuff does not have any english. we were told to buy bleach for the bathroom to prevent the growth of mold (it is very humid here) and nothing was in english so i would open up bottles and smell them.

this is obviously something to clean the floor. awesome right??? oh and antoinette said she wanted something authentically japanese and i told her i'd buy her a mousetrap. she said she didn't want a mousetrap but i'm going to buy her one anyway. and we bought a roachtrap (photograph later) that is a little japanese house where roaches meet their death!!! i haven't witnessed any cockroaches but we could have them.

lame picture of us walking. i think our dorm manager lady was giving us a tour. oh and that building with the red walkway thing.....yeah that's a denny's. open 24 hours!

bus shot. wow. awesome i know. and i think a doorbell sound is heard when whoever presses this button to alert the bus driver to stop at the next stop. it's pleasant. and the seat have some sort of cartoon on them. again, photograph later. i need to get over feeling weird about taking pictures. i obviously look foreign so why should i care? the boy on the left was the boy i met after leaving the plane. he's from the south. y'all want some sweet tay? (no one probably got the humor in that except dottie and i)

this is a vending maching on campus. there was much discussion about what those fish things are. ok. i'm not tired but i'm tired. more later. goodnight!
